Springtime in Creston

Hello all.

Well, winter, what can I say. It rushed upon us with a bang.

When I looked through my photos I just had to scrap something green with great memories and warmer promises to come.

Creston is a small town in British Columbia Canada. By  far my most favorite place I discovered in my new home country. We visit there often and made a bunch of great friends. I am a country girl at heart you see, and I can only describe it as my “happy town”.SPRING-1I used paper from Kaisercraft, from the “Pickled Pear” collection. The paper and the collectables were a perfect mach  for my photo. This layout came together with a lot of layering…..so much fun.SPRING-2A little more interest on the background paper were achieved with splatter and spray with ink and a dot stamp lightly stamped on the white area.SPRING-3Inking is always advised when there is torn paper and a little ink rubbed lightly on some elements give it that vintage look we all love so much.SPRING-4 The roses and framed definition is from Prima, and I used some chipboard swirl to complete the corner. Nature is so inspiring and the definition was just right for my message on this page.SPRING-5Again my title is made up of  stickers from Basic Grey. The color relates  nicely with everything.SPRING-6This photo was taken on Webbers Mountainside Cherry Farm in Wynndel just outside Creston. (It is a pear tree in bloom)  Take a look at their site http://www.webbersmountaincherries.ca/ . Michele and Wade Webber own the farm and they are some of my favorite people.

To every one in the cold winter regions, bundle up and stay safe.

Happy crafting everyone.
