Happy Feet

Hello everyone.

At last summer arrived, and with that, summer holidays. My son just finished grade ten! It feels like yesterday that I took this photo of his first day to high school.Happy-Feet-#1This was a big day for both of us…..me, biting my nails, not knowing if he would be alright without help on the bus and train, and for him going to a new school.Happy-Feet-#2As soon as he entered the door home I took this picture of a very brave young man’s feet. Happy-Feet-#3He adored that pair of jeans, but like most good things they came to an abrupt end one day as they tore. I took a different but very similar pair of jeans and ripped them apart for this layout. I used the buttons and some fabric for accent pieces. First he was a bit shocked at the sight of me tearing his pants apart, but the end result gave him a nice big smile. Happy-Feet-#4Washi tape, sewing and a lot of metal embellishments were used here. I also used some texture paint with a stencil for the background, and a few drippies and splashes with Dylusions ink spray.Happy-Feet-#5

Happy-Feet-#6Thank you for visiting and being so awesome as to write some comments, and Pin my work.

Have a great week you guys, and enjoy the crafting.

Alana.
